The ask
I wanted a free gallery setup for a few hundred sim-rig photos, organized into six categories.
What changed
Installed FooGallery Free, enabled its free Albums feature and created Full Rig, Button Boxes & Wiring, Wheels & Controls, Custom Parts & Mounts, Tactile Feedback and Flight Setup galleries. Added the album to My Sim Rig above the hardware inventory. Configured rectangular thumbnails, the built-in lightbox and free dot pagination with 24 photos per page.
How
Codex used snapshots and the WP-CLI wrapper, checked the installed plugin’s settings and saved the gallery and album configuration through WordPress.
What worked / what didn’t
Verified the six galleries, album membership, shortcode registration, page content and settings. No photos have been supplied yet, so empty galleries do not have cover cards and image layout and lightbox behavior cannot yet be checked with actual rig photos. The setup uses free features only.
