The ask
I wanted Counters Block on my homepage, using rectangular cards for the four existing statistics.
What changed
Installed and activated Counters Block. Replaced the plain statistics with four dark rectangular cards, green animated numbers, and the existing labels and values: 23, 23, 5 and 7. Configured four columns on desktop, two on tablets and one on phones.
How
Codex used SSH and the WP-CLI wrapper, with snapshots before the plugin installation and homepage update. Both changes were recorded and pushed to GitHub.
What worked / what didn’t
Verified plugin activation, the four saved values, responsive settings, and WordPress block rendering. Corrected CSS variable escaping during verification. The plugin requires literal font sizes in its typography controls, so those use rem units; colors and spacing use the theme presets. Browser access was denied, so visual layout and animation playback have not been verified in a browser.
