The ask
Round out the Experience page with what the IT Director role covers beyond hands-on technical work. Claude suggested 18 typical director responsibilities, Paul confirmed which ones he actually does, and only those were added.
What changed
- New “Leadership and responsibilities” section under the Director role, in three columns: leadership and business, security and compliance, and projects
- Nine confirmed items, including team standards, project scoping, security baselines, incident response, compliance, policy writing, migrations and office buildouts
- The decision-making authority line was reworded so it doesn’t repeat the About page
How
SSH and WP-CLI. The new section was inserted into the existing page content rather than rewriting the page, so edits made by other harnesses were preserved.
What worked, what didn’t
The suggest-then-confirm approach kept the page honest: nothing went on the site that Paul didn’t confirm. Incident response is described without naming any client, per the content guidelines.
