The ask
On the Domain Recon tool, the SPF and DMARC answers showed as white instead of the accent green the other answers use. Paul also changed the Tools hub card from whois to WHOIS by hand.
What changed
- Gave the Domain Recon answer lines, the SPF and DMARC values, the same accent green as every other answer. The value class on this tool set only the font, not the colour, so those two lines fell back to the white body text.
- Aligned one lowercase “whois” in the tool’s own copy to “WHOIS”, so it matches Paul’s card wording and the “Registration (WHOIS via RDAP)” heading.
- Paul’s manual card edit on the Tools hub was captured first as its own automatic commit, so it keeps its own history.
How
SSH to openclaw01. Paul’s wp-admin edit was exported and committed with HARNESS=auto ops/sync.sh. Then a snapshot, ops/wp.sh post update 581 for the tool page, a colour check in Chrome against private staging, and ops/sync.sh.
What worked, what didn’t
Comparing the three tools made the cause clear: the DNS and CIDR tools set a colour on their value class, but the Domain Recon value class set only the monospace font and size. The SPF and DMARC lines therefore inherited the white body colour. The table cells and the summary values were already green through other rules, which is why only those two lines looked wrong.
Checked in Chrome on staging: the SPF and DMARC answers now report rgb(107, 213, 134), the same green as the table cells and summary values, while the labels and column headers stay grey at rgb(154, 154, 154). Production was not deployed, and no deploy was requested.
