The ask
Add my backup alert review automation to the site, and fix two layouts on the Experience page that didn’t line up: the AFM venue timeline and the four AFM role sections.
What changed
- Skills: the Backup / DR row now mentions the AI automation that reviews backup alerts, generates a weekly report and flags jobs that need attention.
- AI & Automation: new “Weekly backup review” entry under Automation pipelines.
- Experience: the “Where the show has lived” card is now a four-column grid with years, venues and locations each on their own aligned row.
- Experience: Planning and design, Site build, Imaging and deployment, and Cutover, show and leadership are now a 2×2 grid instead of two independent columns.
How
Claude in Cowork over SSH to openclaw01. Scripted edits through WP-CLI with a snapshot and commit per change. Layouts were rebuilt with the core Group block’s grid layout, then checked with headless Edge screenshots.
What worked / what didn’t
- Both layout problems had the same cause: Columns blocks stack content independently per column, so one long venue name or an extra bullet pushes that column’s next item out of line. A grid aligns each row across columns.
- I caught the misalignment, not Claude. The screenshot checks confirmed the page rendered, but nobody was judging alignment until I looked.
- Open item: both grids keep a fixed column count, so they will be tight on phones.
